Marcia O.
Wright, a
native of Arlington, Virginia, is a 2000 graduate of Spelman College in
Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate studies,
she completed a summer residency in the Dominican Republic. Upon graduation
from Spelman, Ms.Wright enrolled in the Columbus School of Law at The
Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where she served on
the Moot Court, National Trials Team, and served as a student attorney
in the Columbus Community Legal Services, General Practice Clinic. Ms.
Wright interned with the Honorable Natalia Coombs-Greene, Associate Judge,
District of Columbia Superior Court, and worked as a student attorney
in the Domestic Violence Clinic at AYUDA, Inc. Ms. Wright earned a Juris
Doctor from the Columbus School of Law in May, 2003.
Ms. Wright is a member
of the Virginia State Bar, and has been admitted to practice before the
United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Wright is a member
of Fairfax Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, the Northern Virginia
Black Attorneys Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Wright
is proficient in Spanish. Her practice areas include Civil and Criminal
litigation and Family Law.
Ms. Wright is an
active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as well as a member
at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia.
